goCreate: Make Holiday Decorations for Veterans!
This project is intended for families and young volunteers. In order to attend, you must be either under the age of 18, or accompanying a youth volunteer.
Please email arodriguez@bostoncares.org if you are bringing a child. All volunteers under 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years old.
All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to give to the Volunteer Leader.
Spend your Veterans Day weekend giving back! The New England Center for Homeless Veterans is looking for decorations to brighten up the Center during the holidays. Join us to create a sense of home for our vets by making snowflakes, holiday cards, and wall hangings in our Boston Cares office! We'll pack them up into goodie bags to be distributed to our local vets and be joined by the Center's Community Relations Coordinator, CJ Beck, to learn about the project's impact.
T-Accessible: North Station (Orange & Green lines)
This project will feature the option of an express orientation before the project at 12:30pm. Interested, unregistered participants can sign up here.
