Canoeing on the Charles River with Newton Athletes Unlimited

Athletes Unlimited is dedicated to enhancing the lives of children and adults with disabilities through year-round recreation and leisure programs.  This activity is for adults with disabilities to get out and relax on a canoe ride down the Charles River.The canoes hold 4-5 adults. Everyone must wear a life jacket. Volunteers will be paired up with athletes in these larger canoes.  

Volunteers must be comfortable canoeing and know how to swim. Come ready for a fun time!

This project is not MBTA accesible. 

This project is reserved for Boston Cares members who have attended an orientation.
