Hostelling International Boston

MISSION The mission of Hostelling International USA, Eastern New England Council is to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling. DESCRIPTION Hostelling International USA (HI-USA) is a national organization that offers inexpensive travel and outdoor recreation to all people, regardless of race, creed, or religion. HI-USA is a non-profit organization exclusive for charitable and educational purposes and is dedicated "to help all, especially the young, gain a greater understanding of the world and its people through hostelling." The Eastern New England Council (ENEC) is the chartered regional council of Hostelling International USA. ENEC operates a year round hostel in Boston, and five seasonal hostels in Boston, Cape Cod, Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard that are inexpensive, safe, clean and are open to both individuals and groups, regardless of age. Hostels range from urban buildings with hundreds of beds to small hostels in rural settings. IMPACT HI-ENEC serves hundreds of youth groups, adult groups and individual hostellers each year. They provide cultural programming and communtiy service projects for guests and HI-USA members in each of our hostel communties.
