TeamWorks: Green Team

Boston Cares TeamWorks Program focuses on facilitating the shift from casual volunteering to intentional citizenship. Participation includes serving with a team of 6-12 individuals on a series of three to five projects, with various organizations. Teams will also participate in a service learning activity to enhance the impact of their work.  


Get your hands working this fall with the Green Team! Projects involve working in gardens, parks, and wooded areas for organizations that are commited to cleaning up public spaces for a cleaner, greener city!

 

 

***Please be mindful when committing to this team that these organizations depend on a specific volunteer group size in order to provide their services. Attendance at all projects, including the kickoff, is expected***

• Tuesday, October 17 from 6pm-730pm
TeamWorks Kickoff @ Boston Cares

• Saturday, October 21 from 1130am-130pm
Harvest vegetables @ Ripples of Hope

• Saturday, Ocotber 28 from 9am-12pm
Park Restoration & Clean up @ Esplanade Association

• Saturday November 4 from 9am-11am
Garden Clean up @ Shawmut Corridor Gardens

• Saturday, Novemer 11 from 10am-1130am
Clean up Allandale Woods @ Urban Wilds

& Team Service Learning Activity 1130am-1230pm
Your team will choose a location (café, restaurant, project site, etc.) for your service learning activity.
