Help Pack and Distribute Food at St. Luke's Food Pantry!

About St. Luke's Food Pantry: This Food Pantry located in Chelsea has been serving their community since 2007, providing groceries, warm meals and other basic needs to residents of Chelsea and surrounding cities. They currently serve an average number of 800 families a month, and growing. They distribute food on Saturday's to their community and to those who need services from the food pantry.
Volunteers are needed to help sort, package and distribute food to clients every Saturday morning. The project can be either indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. There is an assembly line to put together bags of dry goods, frozen foods and fresh produce that is then distributed to the clients.
Please note: Volunteers will be asked to provide proof of vaccination when they arrive onsite and wear a mask at all times.
There is some lifting involved, however there are tasks for all capabilities.
