Help Paint the Dearborn STEM Academy
Help the Dearborn STEM Academy prepare for the new school year! Volunteers are needed to help complete the painting of doorways and hallway accents in the Dearborn STEM Academy. The Dearborn is a Boston Public School serving grades 6-12 that will be operated by an extertanl partner, BPE (Boston Plan for Excellence), beginning this fall. The school is currently located on the 4th floor of the Burke High School, using temporary space for the next two years while their new state-of-the-art STEM building is constructed in Roxbury. With shared space and a new administration, the school is looking to make the space feel like home with school colors throughout the halsl befoe students return in a few short weeks. Volunteers will be painting doors and hallway accents - instruction will be provided. Please be sure to wear closed-toe shoes and clothing that can get painted.
