First Aid Certification Training
American Heart Association Heartsaver First Aid: The class includes instruction in many emergency situations including patient assessment, bleeding and wound care, broken bones, shock, medical emergencies, burns, poisoning, use of an epi-pen, environmental emergencies, and more. Instruction is interspersed with hands on practice. Attendees will receive a certification card valid for two (2) years. There is a processing fee for the certification card and cost of materials of $40. Please bring exact change in cash!
The training is located at Boston Cares, 90 Canal Street, Suite 610, Boston MA 02114. We encourage volunteers to take public transportation as we are located conveniently between North Station and Haymarket on the Orange and Green lines. Parking is metered in the surrounding areas.
