Volunteer with Fenway Porchfest 2025!
Fenway Porchfest is a collaborative partnership between two Fenway organizations, Fenway Community Development Organization and the Fenway Community Center. It is a free music festival that takes place in a wide range of diverse outdoor spaces in the Fenway, ranging from the Verb Hotel and 401 Park to the Emerald Necklace and Berklee College of Music! We aim for this festival to build community in the Fenway and highlight the many things the neighborhood has to offer. Learn more here: www.fenwayporchfest.org.
Volunteers will be given a 1-hr training session at Fenway Community Center (1282 Boylston St) and then stationed with at least 1 other volunteer at various Fenway Porchfest sites across the neighborhood. Volunteers are expected to distribute maps of Porchfest, encourage passersby to stop and listen to music, identify & communicate on-site issues to Zone Leader, and provide support to performers & site hosts. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided!
Please note that not all event sites have direct access to shade or seating. If accessibility considerations are requested, we will make best efforts to accommodate in volunteer placement.
