Kendall Sq Farmers Market!

About the Mass Farmers Markets (MFM): MFM partners with farmers, consumers, and communities to improve the health of individuals, strengthen community vitality, and enhance local farm viability through farmers markets. The Kendall Square Farmers Market takes place at 1 Broad Canal Way in partnership with Canal District Kendall.

Volunteers will be assisting the Market Manager to help supervise the market. Shoppers will need to line up in designated areas before the market opens at noon, and vendors will need help setting up and parking, etc.

*Please Note: Volunteers will need to be standing at the outdoor markets during the duration of their shift. There will be tents available for days with inclement weather. There will also occasionally be help needed in light lifting or moving of supplies.

Skillsets beneficial for this opportunity include interpersonal skills, physical strength, flexibility, and love for local agriculture! Any fluency in Chinese/Mandarin, Haitian-Creole, or Russian is extremely helpful.
