Interfaith Social Services

Since 1947, Interfaith Social Services seeks to serve South Shore residents by strengthening family life and offering assistance to anyone in need. It works as a one stop shop for families in need. Last year, the Pantry Shelf distributed 350,000 lbs. of food to hungry families and individuals. Other services include a Counseling Center, a homelessness prevention and emergency assistance program, a Career Closet which distributes free professional attire for low income job seekers to wear to job interviews, and the Bureau Drawer Thrift Shop.
