URBAN WILDS INITIATIVE
The Urban Wilds Initiative is a volunteer-based program that is staffed by a program consultant and has no operating budget. In addition to acquiring/protecting and maintaining /managing natural areas in Boston, the program seeks to conduct community outreach and education to promote stewardship around these ecologically important sites.
The Urban Wilds Initiative protects, maintains, and restores publicly-owned urban wilds in order to ensure the access to and enjoyment of these natural treasures for present and future Boston residents.
