Help at Boston Landmarks Orchestra Outdoor Concerts
There are a variety of tasks for volunteers before and after the concert each evening. Volunteers can expect to do some or all of the following: distribute program books, manage the Info table, assist people with lawn chairs, assist those with limited mobility, take survey of audience zip codes, collect donations, help pack up. Often there are other tasks that come up during the evening as well! Please note: Volunteers will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time and ability to lift lawn chairs. Volunteers should also bring a blanket or lawn chair to watch the concert, and be prepared with sunscreen and/or bug spray if needed since the concert is outdoors. Some light snacks will be provided, but volunteers should plan on eating before the concert, or bring a picnic dinner. Volunteers will also be given a tee shirt to wear over their outfit! Volunteers can store their belongings at the volunteer table, but please do not bring valuables unless they are kept on you at all times. MTBA Accessible: Red Line (Charles Street/MGH Station)
