MLK Weekend 2021: Virtual Knit & Crochet

Wondering how you can serve your community while staying at home?

Join with our volunteers to knit and crochet together, all virtually and from home! Come together virtually to meet other volunteers while they knit / crochet hats, scarves or mittens to donate for kids and adults at non-profits across the city of Boston. Enjoy knitting and crocheting with other volunteers. All volunteers have the opportunity to donate their completed items to whichever organization they would like. A background on the nonprofit agencies accepting donations will be given at the session!

Please note volunteers are expected to have basic skills in knitting or crochet. This project is not designed to teach skills, although we can answer questions and provide resources for beginners and refreshers.

*Volunteers under the age of 18 must submit a completed Parent Guardian Form and email it to volunteers@bostoncares.org by Wednesday, January 13th to participate.

Volunteers will receive their Zoom link to their knit and crochet session beforehand.
The opportunity date and time you are looking for is no longer available.
