MLK Weekend 2021: Skill Videos for the Boys and Girls Club

Volunteers will join in via zoom to learn about the Skill Videos project for the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Lowell. This project was created to help children during periods of remote learning and being at home.

The Boys and Girls Club has began a virtual club for kids ages 8-18 who are not able to physically come to the club at this time. Volunteers will create a short video (anywhere between 30 seconds to a few minutes in length) showing off a skill or talent that they have learned. Creativity is encouraged for this project!

Types of videos can span many interest areas including: STEM, arts and crafts, work and career skills, sports, and many more.

Please note, completed videos will be uploaded and will then be shared online and via social media by the Boys and Girls Club so that their members can watch and enjoy!

*Volunteers under the age of 18 must submit a completed Parent Guardian Form and email it to volunteers@bostoncares.org by Wednesday, January 13th to participate.
