Stock Donations at the East End House Food Pantry

The health and safety of our volunteers, Volunteer Leaders, and the people we serve is our top priority. We are working with our Community Partners to ensure that state & city guidance is followed to slow the spread of COVID-19. Read about our Safety Requirements.

Volunteers will help receive food donations from the Greater Boston Food Bank and other food rescues and restock the shelves at the East End House Food Pantry. This is an active project! Volunteers should be able to comfortably lift 30-50 lbs.

About the East End House: The East End House Emergency Food Pantry serves residents throughout the Boston area, primarily from East Cambridge. They support over 300 families per month by offering healthy fresh and shelf-stable foods in a dignified setting. By increasing access to good food, they promote the flourishing and achievement of children from low-income families. They receive most of their food from the Greater Boston Food Bank, Food for Free, and Lovin' Spoonfuls. In addition, they receive donations from local food drives and individuals in the community.

T-Accessibility & Parking: Kendall/MIT (Red Line), Lechmere (Green Line), metered street parking.
