Empowerment Center Support at the Cape Cod Military Support Foundation

The health and safety of our volunteers, Volunteer Leaders, and the people we serve is our top priority. We are working with our Community Partners to ensure that state & city guidance is followed to slow the spread of COVID-19. Read about our Safety Requirements.

The Cape Cod Military Support Foundation operates an Empowerment Center on Joint Base Cape Cod that is open three days a week to provide food, personal hygiene products, and many other life essentials for veterans and active-duty military and their families.

Volunteers are needed to help restock shelves, perform warehouse work, check-out clients, bread/pastry pick-up, baby pantry activities (restocking, washing & drying clothing).

Please note: While in the Empowerment Center, mask wearing is required becuase it's a Military Base. There are two shifts per day, 10am-1pm and 1:30-4:30pm. If in a group, volunteers will be split into smaller teams and assigned various duties. Individuals are welcome as well.

Registration will be closed one-week in advance of each occurrence so CCMSF can reach out to each volunteer to gather general contact/security information to register for a guest pass. Info needed will include full name, license number, and state of issue.

Please note: This project requires moderate physical activities including bending, lifting, and standing.
