A Wild Affair at the Stone Zoo

Zoo New England's mission is to be a pre-eminent conservator of endangered animal species, and to provide world-class resources for conservation education.

Stone Zoo’s Annual "A Wild Affair"

Get those taste buds ready for a wild night at Stone Zoo's 13th annual fundraiser! This event will feature stations hosted by Greater Boston’s best restaurants and caterers as well as live entertainment, a silent and live auction, and an opportunity to stroll among the animals. Proceeds from A Wild Affair support the operation and continued growth of Stone Zoo, its education programs and conservation initiatives.

Volunteers are needed to staff registration, help the restaurants restock, clean up tables and chairs, staff the raffle events and aide in clean-up. Volunteers should come dressed in comfortable but dressy clothing and closed-toe shoes. If you sign up you are expected to stay throughout clean up at the end. Volunteers are NOT allowed to sample alcoholic beverages, though you are welcome to sample the food.

Transportation is not provided. If you have transportation concerns, contact the Volunteer Leader listed below, and he/she will see if a carpool can be arranged with the other volunteers.

This project is reserved for Boston Cares members who have attended an orientation.
