Join the Youth and Education Corps (K-8)!

Make an impact with the Youth and Education (K-8) Corps!
We are looking for fresh faces to join existing weekday, day-time Corps volunteers in working with local elementary and middle school students to advance their education and engage them in learning!

Corps volunteers are a part of a network of volunteers who share a passion for enhancing educational opportunities for local youth. Volunteers serve at 2-4 partner organizations, such as UP Academy Dorchester and 826 Boston, which focus on developing learning opportunities for Boston’s elementary and middle school students. Corps volunteers deepen their community engagement by committing to serve twice-a-month through the Corps and attending skill building opportunities.
See a complete list of expectations and benefits of the Corps program, here.

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in:

1. Joining the Youth and Education (K-8) Corps and meeting the Corps expectations, including serving 2 times/month at one of our Corps partner sites

2. Working in classrooms, tutoring sessions, and after school enrichment activities with elementary and middle school students to enhance their learning

3. Volunteers with flexible, weekday, day-time availability, mostly in the afternoon, 2pm-5pm range
