Age Minimum (with Adult): 10+, Minimum Age:16+, Orientation Required
Farm in Framingham at Stearns Farm CSA
Volunteers will be planting vegetables and doing a variety of farm work tasks. It is strongly suggested that volunteers wear long pants and bring a bottle of water due the physical nature of the work. An orientation to the farm and tasks that day will occur at 9:45am.
Please note that there are no cell phones allowed on the farm, so volunteers should keep them with their cars/other belongings.
Also, there are no trash facilities at this farm. Whatever is brought in must be carried out. Please make sure to plan accordingly!
Youth-friendly, 10+. All youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult over 18. All volunteers under 18 years old must bring a Permission Form signed by a parent or guardian to give to the Project Leader. Please email email@example.com or call 617-422-0910 x208 if you would like to bring youth to this project.
This project is reserved for Boston Cares members who have attended an orientation.
