Thanksgiving Holiday Help at the Elizabeth Peabody House

Come help the EPH get ready for Thanksgiving! Every year Elizabeth Peabody House hosts a giant Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway where they give out turkeys, produce, and everything a family needs to prepare a holiday meal. This year they will be serving 350 families in the greater Somerville community!

During this volunteer opportunity, volunteers will be picking up turkeys from the Greater Boston Food Bank in preparation for Thanksgiving, sorting the food and distributing the baskets. Please see below for the project schedule. Activities include loading up and unloading the van and putting food away. Boxes can be heavy, and volunteers should be prepared for some light lifting.
