SparkShare: Lego Brainstorming Summit
SparkShare's mission is to equip young people with the skills, tools, mindset and connections they need to drive meaningful change in their communities.
Through an innovative program model that incorporates Design Thinking and a focus on empathy, we create opportunities for youth from across diverse backgrounds to connect with each other and cultivate the problem-solving skills, confidence, and civic agency necessary to become effective change-makers.
Volunteers are needed to help with several tasks at the Lego Brainstorming Summit Event! Volunteer responsibilities may include the following:
- Help with set up and break down.
- Help with food set up (breakfast & lunch).
- Lead and facilitate small break out activities throughout the day.
- Clean up help at the end of the day.
The opportunity leader will reach out to check in before the event date with more details.
Volunteers will be standing, walking and carrying materials through out the day. Volunteers who are bilingual in English/Spanish are highly encouraged to sign up. Additionally, those who are comfortable leading and interacting with high school aged youth!
