Volunteer at the Hyde Park Emergency Food Pantry

Hyde Park Emergency Food Pantry's mission is to provide hunger relief to our neighbors who can't make ends meet.

Volunteers can do a variety of tasks from: checking clients' IDs checking clients in via our index card system, packing paper/plastic bags of food (frozen, produce, canned goods, etc.), stocking food in refrigerators, freezers, and on shelves, doing light sweeping/wiping down cleaning, and organizing, etc.

Volunteers will need to stand for the 3-hour session and may need to lift up to 50 lbs. Volunteers who are bilingual in Spanish or Creole are encouraged to sign up!

MBTA Line Accessibility: Commuter Rail on Fairmount, Hyde Park, Readville and buses routes 24, 32, 33, 50
