Braintree Community Youth Center

MISSION To be a fun and safe environment for all young people who enter its doors. To offer an open meeting and gathering place free of discrimination based upon race, ethnicity, religion, and sexual orientation. DESCRIPTION Braintree Community Youth Center (BCYC) is a safe, fun, affordable place for kids to hang out, play, learn social interaction skills and grow friendships. The BCYC is currently open on Friday and Saturday nights. Braintree youth in grades 7-12 can hang out as a member or be a guest of a member. (Youth from other towns can also hang out as the guest of a member.) Youth can hang out, play pool, ping pong or other games, watch TV, play video games, and enjoy snacks. The Youth Center has tables, chairs, couches and TVs. IMPACT They have had up to 100 youth in one night at the BCYC. The Center provides a safe place for members and their guests to hang out and be themselves while still being supervised by adults.
