FDNH/Log School

MISSION To equip all students they serve with the attitude, skills, and experience to graduate from college and positively impact their community. DESCRIPTION Since 1965, Federated Dorchester Neighborhood Houses, Inc. has provided the community of Dorchester with high-quality education, human, and social services. Today, with education at the core of all programs, FDNH provides opportunities at all levels beginning with young children, moving to address issues affecting youth, and proceeding to adult education. FDNH strives to ensure that no student gets lost on the path to higher education and that all students have the opportunity to realize their goals. The Log School is part of Federated Dorchester Neighborhood Houses. American and foreign-born students may enroll in the Adult Education Program to gain help in attaining the GED diploma or in learning English through ESOL courses. The program provides academic advising and supports students toward realizing their goals and taking next steps. All courses are free of cost, with free drop-in childcare.
