Girl Scouts has aided the education and growth of girls and women for almost 100 years. Today, Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (GSEM) serves over 43,000 girls between five and eighteen with the help of more than 17,000 adult volunteers in 178 communities in eastern Massachusetts. GSEM develops and delivers high quality program on Health Living, Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM), Environmental Education, Financial Literacy and Civic Engagement. Girls participate in a variety of programs through their individually chosen pathways: regional camps, local community troops, special interest groups, virtual activities, travel opportunities, and community-based partnerships. Volunteers will be helping the camp get ready for the busy season by improving handicap trails, rebuilding timber stairs and cutting back over grown brush and leaf removal. Volunteers will build benches and additional outdoor seating for the campers. Volunteers will also complete outdoor painting of various cabins. In addition, the camp would love some deep cleaning of cabins and buildings to get ready for the busy season.
