Hub On Wheels

MISSION Hub On Wheels bring people togetherfrom the city and suburbs to celebrate the pleasure of cycling and share Boston's parks, neighborhoods, diversity, and architectural beauty--while creating opportunity for Boston's kids. DESCRIPTION Hub On Wheels is produced by the City of Boston and the Bsoton Digital Bridge Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that works to empower low-income young people and families. Hub On Wheels seeks to bring people together and enjoy the pleasures of cycling. Bicycling improves public health, transportation, and Boston's attractiveness as a place to live and work. All net proceeds from Hub On Wheels support BDBF programs. The foundation was founded in 2000 with the mission of improving the social and economic well-being of the city by empowering low-income sutdents and their families by creating "bridges" between different segments of our community. BDBF works in close partnership with Mayor Menino's office, city and state agencies, the private sector and community service organizations.
