Massachusetts Horticultural Society

Founded in 1829, the Massachusetts Horticultural Society is dedicated to encouraging the science and practice of horticulture and developing the public's enjoyment, appreciation and understanding of plants and the environment. They have about 8000 members and 24 staff and are headquartered at Elm Bank Horticultural Center in Wellesley. Annual event is the New England Spring Flower Show, which is visited by 65,000-70,000 per year.
