The Sino-American Bridge for Education and Health

The Sino-American Bridge for Education and Health is formed and shall be operated for the exclusively charitable, educational, and scientific purposes to promote mutual understanding and friendship between educators and students of the United States and China through educational and cultural exchange programs and to support education and healthcare advances especially in rural China. Their programs will offer educators and students from both countries opportunities to learn about the language and cultures of people in the opposite hemisphere, and will provide new generations with a better understanding of the peoples who share their world. They recognize that learning both Chinese and English is a global necessity. Through these exchange programs for educators and healthcare workers, improvements in education, health, and mutual understanding will promote positive interdependence between these two great nations.
