Therapy & the Performing Arts

MISSION Therapy and the Performing Arts (TPA), a program of The Genesis Fund, provides children and young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities the opportunity to enjoy various arts and recreational programs in addition to receiving therapeutic benefits from their participation. DESCRIPTION TPA offers children new and rewarding experiences from which they develop self-confidence, increase motor function, and have fun. TPA is primarily funded by The Genesis Fund, a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds to assist children with birth defects, mental retardation and genetic diseases. TPA's programs include music, dance, drama, art, swimming, wind surfing, kayaking, photography, skiing, ice skating, horseback riding and pet therapy. IMPACT TPA serves over 500 students whose disabilities consists of physical, intellectual, genetic diseases, birth defects and mental retardation.
